We're the crew of the USS Nokomis Star Trek club!
We have been active in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, science fiction community for more than 20 years. For us, Star Trek is a starting point to launch friendships. We take our common interest in the show and optimism in our future and apply it to the world around us. Whether it's attending our regular meetings, participating in a community service project, or socializing at one of our parties or campouts, the Nokomis can be as much as you want to make it.

Did you find us at the Star Trek XI Premiere in Burnsville?
We're delighted you were there! We and hope you enjoyed the film as much as we did. We're the folks with the cool briefing room set outside Theater Number 1, so we're a bit biased.
When we're not hanging out at movie theaters we are largely a social group. You can find us at all kinds of events! If you'd like to visit us (or even join up), you can find us at the events listed in the announcements at the bottom of this page.
Everything we post here is open to anyone, and guests are welcome! You will most certainly fit in. We have members from 8 to Retired, all genders, races, and species (just kidding about the species part).
Over the summer we're celebrating 25 years since we started, at the same time Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock was in theaters. We have picnics and outings over the summer, please join us. We get back to our regular meeting schedule in September (but we still have fun).

The Nokomis Blood Drive at CONvergence takes place from 11AM to 4PM.
Help us meet the goal of 30 units of life saving blood!
Look for us in the hotel lobby, we'll get you all prepared and signed in.
