We had a fun time at the event on July 19th. The picnic area at Bloomington's Bush Lake Park was lovely and had everything we needed for our picnic. Members of several other area fan groups joined us for a nice afternoon of food, visiting, music and a few nature walks. We have so few chances to relax with our friends, as we usually see them at conventions, that this is a wonderful change.
Our next chance to get together with the other groups will be December 12th at the All-Ships' Holiday Party. Mark your calendars now and plan to let all of your contacts in other clubs know.
