Thanks to everyone that attended, brought guests, and participated in the auction and raffle this past Sunday. We had a great time and good food. The American Legion was, as always, remarkably gracious to us and their chili was yummmmmmmy!
The auction was a success, thanks to those that donated and those that purchased. Many interesting items were on display, and many went to good homes. The raffle took in quite a bit, allowing us to give a donation to Ukraine relief and give some to the lucky winners. One quick request - can you please check your belongings for a lost item? One of our members purchased a lovely handmade necklace in a black fabric bag and it went off to the wrong home. If you have it, please let Pam know.
Extra special thanks go to the numerous people that worked hard to put on this event. We could not have done it without those that came early to help set up; ran the auction, activities and dinner throughout the day; and stayed late to clean up. This, on top of the months of planning by the core committee, contributed to a wonderful time.
We'll be letting you know specifics at an upcoming meeting. All in all, it was a fun day that benefitted our group and two worthy charities. Thank you!
