We’re Off to the Races in August
Head for Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, MN for Live Racing on Tuesday Night, August 6th. We’ve had a great time in years past, and some of us have even won some money too.
In years past we had a whole group package including the photo finish, taken with the jockey in the Winner’s Circle. This time we’ll be regular guests of the Winner’s Circle Restaurant instead. We’ve got reservations for 20 to 25 people, and the nice folks at the Park have us right up by the glass.
You don’t need to sign up, just show up for good times. Reservations are at 6:00PM and the first race starts at 7:00PM, so there’ll be time for visiting and a little wagering before the ponies fly.
There are a couple of specials while we’re there too. Throughout the summer, Tuesday night is Dollar Night. On our particular night, it’s the High School Stereotypes Night – come in costume, bring school supplies and get a free program.
