The 15th annual USS Nokomis American Red Cross MarsCon blood drive was a success! We had a goal this year of 23 pints, and we beat it by one! That's 24 pints of blood that can help up to 72 patients - pretty darn good! Big thanks go to Jane, who paved the way to success with many hours of calling and recruiting donors to fill the first part of the day, and to Pam and Dawn for being there for eight hours to recruit the rest and manage the drive. Special thanks to the USS Nokomis members that donated their blood to help others. This was our 38th USS Nokomis blood drive, folks. That's a lot of good - nice job!!
