Several generations have grown up with LeVar Burton as a role model. Of course, those of us reading this newsletter know him as Geordi. He is also famous for his starring role in Roots, and millions of children learned from him over 21 seasons of the Emmy and Peabody award-winning series Reading Rainbow. Clearly, he's an amazing story teller.

According to the site, "LeVar Burton, the star of Roots and Emmy-winning host of Reading Rainbow, invites you to discover the power of storytelling. He shares how storytelling is an integral part of humanity and why it’s a critical tool of connectivity." Through a 13-session lesson plan and 5.5 hours of learning, he pledges to help you identify your personal story and learn how to communicate that story to the world. Pretty cool - check it out!
