The Garden Party Bloomed!

Okay, that's a bit of a silly title, but it was a great evening! Emma, Shannon and Harrison put together a lovely meal in a lovely setting. Eleven crew members enjoyed the following menu:

First Course: Roast Beef Summer Rolls with Asian Dipping Sauce, Roasted Summer Squash Soup Shots with Creme Fraiche, and Cauliflower Cheese Nuggets. The cocktail of the evening was DragonBerry Lemonade.

Second Course: Creamy Cucumber Salad with Dill

Main Course: Orzo with Pesto Vinaigrette, Summer Vegetables and Grilled Shrimp, and Zucchini Boats with Roasted Corn and Cotijo Cheese.

Dessert Course: Banana Cream Pie Bites, Chocolate Mousse with Raspberries and Chambord Whipped Cream, and Strawberry Nutella Wontons dusted with Powdered Sugar.

All that remains to be said is YUM. They did an amazing job. The amount of funds raised will be announced at the meeting. We just hope that they keep these dinners coming!
