Data Breach at our website

On September 17th our website was hacked from Russian-occupied Ukraine.  You've noticed the website having periods of slow reactions and sometimes difficulites completing some transactions, and for that I apologize.  I've been dilgiently removing more than 1,000 comments and form posts in Russian, more than a few containg both hostile payloads and questionable imagery.  If you notice any of that creeping through, please notify me directly by email rather than using the website.

It's also been noted in several online databases that passwords for our site may be available to hackers from that event.  If you used the same password for the Nokomis on other sites (especially personally-senstive ones), I'd encourage you to update your password using the Forgot Password link on the login page.  I encourge that routinely anyway, this is a good reminder do it sooner rather than later.

Please know that we only store username, email address, and encrypted passwords on our site - the minium needed to make it work.  None of your bank, card, or other financial information has ever been stored on the Nokomis website by choice - it's held at whatever payment processors you choose to use.

Thanks for your understanding, and for sharing your keen observations.
